AERA SYNTHETICA - a Markus Haala Project

This curatorial project in collaboration with the University of Massachusetts and the MA/Lowell Cultural Council reviewed conteporary artistic practices centering around the perception of nature and ecology as observed through the lens of the Anthropocene.
The exhibition featured the artistic opinion and vision of eight artists: Markus Haala, Mark Dion, Patrick Jacobs, Michael Oatman, Ingrid Hess, Craig Stockwell, Todd Bartel, and Mark Mannheimer; arranged as a dialog between artists and artworks.
AERA SYNTHETICA was exhibited at University of Massachusetts Lowell's University Gallery from March 21 to April 19, 2019.
The show was acompanied by an exhibition catalog.
